Oats and Cashew Cookies

My sister has been making these cookies for a long time and every time that I have tasted it, has always been delicious. My daughter is very very fond of my sister's cookies. It is my great pleasure to share her wonderful and easy to make recipe with you all.

We all enjoyed her cookies. Hope you all would enjoy too:)

Ingredients

Oats - 1 cup

All purpose flour ( maida) - 11/2 cups

Cashew nuts- 1 cup

Powdered Sugar- 1 cup

Ghee - 5 tbsps

Vanilla essence- 1 tsp

Milk- little if required.

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 deg cel.

Line a tray with parchment paper.

Powder the oats and cashew separately.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead it to a stiff dough. You should be able to roll into a ball. If not add little milk to get the consistency.

Make small balls of equal size of the dough and arrange it on the tray lined with parchment sheet. Leave some space in between.

Bake at 180 deg cel for 18-20 mins.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Cookies will be crisp after cooling.

Store it in an air tight container :)
